Key Responsibilities:
Executive Support
- Manage leadership calendars and scheduling
- Coordinate meetings and appointments

Transportation Operations
- Support dispatch and trip coordination
- Confirm transportation schedules

Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent

Position Overview:
Cross Care Transport is looking for a friendly, hardworking, and reliable Dispatch/Customer Service team member to join our growing medical transportation company! This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a company that is actively expanding. As Cross Care Transport continues to build its team and operations, this position will have the potential to grow into a more senior operations or dispatch leadership role.
The right person will have the opportunity to learn the medical transportation business, take on more responsibility over time, help improve dispatch procedures, and become a key part of the company’s daily operations.
We are looking for someone who does not just want a job for the day, but someone who wants to grow with the company and help us build a strong, reliable dispatch operation.
Location: Nyack, NY
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am – 3pm
Key Responsibilities:
What You’ll Do:
- Schedule and dispatch ambulettes for scheduled and on-demand transportation
- Monitor active trips throughout the day and make adjustments as needed
- Communicate clearly with drivers regarding pickups, drop-offs, timing, delays, and route changes
- Speak professionally with clients, families, healthcare facilities, and internal team members
- Help ensure trips are completed safely, efficiently, and on time
- Document trip updates, driver communications, lateness issues, cancellations, and other important details accurately
- Assist with confirming trip details, pickup times, addresses, special needs, and client instructions
- Help prioritize urgent transportation needs while keeping scheduled trips organized
- Notify the appropriate team members of delays, issues, or changes that may affect service
- Support a smooth handoff between office staff, drivers, and management
- Follow company procedures for dispatching, documentation, communication, and escalation
Requirements:
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced setting
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Friendly, polite, and professional with clients, families, facility staff, and drivers
- Comfortable using phones, basic computer systems, and transportation/dispatch software
- Able to stay calm under pressure and handle schedule changes throughout the day
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow company procedures
- Prior dispatch, transportation, customer service, medical office, or scheduling experience is helpful, but not required. We will train the right person!
